Making a new milestone in its commitment to community engagement, Wilcon Depot successfully hosted its first-ever Wilcon 10-Miler Run on June 21, 2026, at Parqal Aseana City, Parañaque.
More than just a race, the event marked the first step of a new journey, bringing together runners, families, fitness enthusiasts, and communities in a movement that goes beyond the distance.
Known as the country’s leading home improvement and construction supplies retailer, Wilcon Depot took a step further as a trusted building partner by creating an event that united people through a shared purpose. Guided by the theme “Building Homes, Breaking Limits,” the Wilcon 10-Miler Run transformed a typical Sunday morning into a celebration of perseverance, wellness, and community spirit.
Held at Parqal, a destination known for its commitment to renewable energy and urban recreational living, the event welcomed thousands of participants ranging from first-time runners to seasoned athletes. Participants challenged themselves across 5KM, 10KM, and 16KM race categories, each one taking strides toward personal goals and race-day experiences tailored to their respective distances.
Every step made during the event carried a deeper meaning. Beyond medals, finish lines, and personal records, the Wilcon 10-Miler Run was organized to raise funds for meaningful causes focused on environmental initiatives and community-building programs.
Among the beneficiaries of the event are Bantay Kalikasan of ABS-CBN Foundation, the organization’s environmental arm dedicated to protecting and restoring the country’s natural resources through sustainable programs and community engagement; Alagang Kapatid Foundation Inc., the corporate social responsibility arm of TV5 that provides disaster response, rehabilitation, medical assistance, and social services to underserved communities; and Crocodylus Porosus Philippines, Inc. (CPPI), an organization committed to the sustainable breeding, conservation, and responsible management of the saltwater crocodile in the Philippines.
