Elon Musk’s SpaceX IPO may reach $1.77 trillion, limiting retail access to early gains. Most private-market growth occurs before public listing, leaving retail investors behind. Platforms like IPO Genie provide structured pre-IPO tracking and tokenized participation opportunities.

Is SpaceX’s $1.77T IPO creating opportunity, or is retail access already too late? The company could raise $75 billion at a valuation near $1.77 trillion, making it larger than many public companies.

Most retail investors cannot participate in private rounds that helped build this valuation. The problem is no longer only about buying SpaceX shares at IPO.

Instead, some are exploring platforms such as IPO Genie ($IPO), which provides structured pre-IPO research and tokenized participation. The focus has shifted to finding opportunities before public markets set the valuation.

SpaceX’s $1.77T IPO Valuation

Elon Musk’s SpaceX could target a $75 billion raise with a valuation near $1.75–$1.77 trillion, making it one of the largest IPOs ever. Morningstar estimates a lower fair value of around $780 billion, below the proposed IPO valuation.

Starlink generated roughly $1.19 billion in operating profit during Q1 2026. SpaceX’s AI division reported a $2.47 billion loss on $818 million in revenue.

Retail investors must consider whether they are buying current earnings or growth already priced in private-market rounds.

The difference between proposed and estimated valuations may affect public-market investors’ decisions.

Retail Access Gaps in the SpaceX IPO

According to a recent analysis of the U.S. IPO activity companies are remaining private for longer periods before going public. Renaissance Capital reported that the median age of companies going public reached 13 years in 2025, up from 10 years in 2018.

Separate research by IPO expert Jay Ritter found that the average age of companies at IPO has more than doubled since the 1980s.

By the time companies reach public markets, earlier private investors may have already participated in years of growth. As a result, IPO access differs from early-stage private-market participation.

Platforms such as IPO Genie provide tools for tracking pre-IPO deals. It allows retail users to explore private-market signals and potential investment opportunities before public listings.

Could SpaceX Face Post-IPO Repricing?

While SpaceX remains one of the world’s most valuable private companies, some analysts question whether a proposed valuation of $1.77 trillion leaves enough room for public-market upside. Morningstar recently estimated SpaceX’s fair value at roughly $780 billion, highlighting a significant gap between market expectations and valuation models.

At the same time, companies are staying private longer, with the median IPO age reaching 13 years, meaning much of the early growth may already be captured before retail investors gain access.

For some investors, this is increasing interest in pre-IPO research and earlier-stage opportunities. As a result, platforms like IPO Genie are gaining attention for helping users discover companies before they reach public markets.

IPO Genie’s $3 Trillion Pre-IPO Market Segment

IPO Genie focuses on private markets valued at over $3 trillion globally. Access to these markets is typically limited to private funds and qualified investors. Minimum investments often range from $250,000 to $1 million, with accreditation and multi-year lockups.

Retail investors usually do not meet the eligibility requirements for these opportunities. IPO Genie provides access starting at $10, allowing users to track pre-IPO deals. Users can observe and participate in private-market opportunities with lower minimums and shorter lockups.

The platform provides a structured process for monitoring pre-IPO company activity before public listings.

$IPO Token Utility and Tiered Participation

Unlike company stock, $IPO does not represent ownership in a business. Instead, it functions as a utility token within the IPO Genie platform.

The project has a total supply of 437 billion tokens. 50% is allocated to the presale, 20% to liquidity and exchanges, 18% to community rewards, 7% to staking rewards, and 5% to the team. Team tokens remain locked for two years before vesting begins.

The platform uses Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum tiers to structure participation levels. The $IPO token is used for staking, governance, and participating in platform deals.

Deal Discovery System and Genie’s Vault

IPO Genie operates a platform that includes AI, Vaults, and deal discovery features. Its AI Agents review founder backgrounds, funding activity, investor participation, GitHub development, and market sentiment.

According to the whitepaper, the system uses a 50-point screening framework to evaluate potential opportunities. The platform uses a Vault system to present research publicly and track results.

Vault #1 featured Redwood AI as the first proof-of-concept opportunity. Vault #2 tests the process again, using clues and community participation before revealing the next company.

IPO Genie includes a Deal Builder Marketplace. Users can submit deals, stake tokens, validate submissions, and participate in community reviews.

Why Investors Are Looking Beyond the SpaceX IPO

Many IPOs experience repricing after public listing, which can affect retail investor returns. Allocation limits, valuation compression, and post-IPO volatility can further reduce upside.

This is why some investors are focusing on earlier opportunities in private markets. IPO Genie does not offer SpaceX shares, but it provides tools for earlier discovery, research, and access.

The focus is shifting from buying SpaceX at IPO to finding opportunities before they reach that stage.

Stay safe: Before using any pre-IPO, secondary-market, or tokenized access route, verify the official website, ownership structure, fees, lockups, and risk disclosures. Tokenized access does not always mean direct equity. Avoid unofficial groups, copied ads, and unknown wallet prompts.
