Best Crypto to Buy Now as Bitcoin Trades Near $89K, Solana Declines, and BlockchainFX Confirms App Launch Date

Price action across the market is sending a clear signal. Bitcoin is trading near $89,226 after losing over 6% in a week, Solana is down more than 11% over the same period, and investors are starting to ask a familiar question again: where is the best crypto to buy now when majors are cooling?

BFX

That question is increasingly being answered by looking beyond established coins. While Bitcoin and Solana react to broader sentiment, BlockchainFX is moving in the opposite direction, with a confirmed product milestone approaching. The BlockchainFX trading app is scheduled to go live on 31 January 2026, a rare development-stage delivery that’s reshaping conversations around the best crypto to buy now.

BlockchainFX Emerges as a Live-Product Presale Play

BlockchainFX is currently in presale, but it is not operating like a typical early-stage project. The platform has already raised over $12.95M from more than 21,000 participants, with the current presale price set at $0.031 and a confirmed launch price of $0.05. That pricing gap alone creates a measurable entry advantage for early buyers.

What makes this more newsworthy is execution. On 31 January 2026, BlockchainFX’s trading app will open access to live trading, deposits, and withdrawals across more than 500 tradable assets, including crypto and traditional markets. Very few presales reach this stage before exchange listings, which is why many analysts now frame BlockchainFX as the best crypto to buy now in January 2026.

APP50 Bonus Highlights the Risk–Reward Equation

To coincide with the trading app launch, BlockchainFX is offering a limited-time presale incentive through the APP50 bonus code, providing buyers with 50% extra $BFX tokens. This materially changes entry economics. For example, a $5,000 purchase at $0.031 normally yields around 161,290 BFX, but with APP50 applied, that allocation increases to roughly 241,935 BFX.

If BFX reaches the commonly cited $1 post-launch valuation, that position would be worth approximately $241,935. Even the confirmed $0.05 launch price represents a clear step-up from current levels. Add licensing from the Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority, and an already-live beta product, and the upside profile explains why BlockchainFX is increasingly viewed as the best crypto to buy now.

Buyers of $100+ in BFX also qualify for the $500,000 Gleam giveaway.

Bitcoin Consolidates After Setting Recent Highs

Bitcoin’s current price near $89,226 reflects consolidation rather than panic. After reaching an all-time high close to $126,198 just three months ago, a 6.01% weekly decline suggests profit-taking and short-term uncertainty. As the first decentralized peer-to-peer cryptocurrency launched in 2009, Bitcoin continues to anchor the market.

However, size limits velocity. At this stage, Bitcoin tends to move portfolios steadily rather than exponentially, which is why it is often excluded from conversations about the best crypto to buy now when investors are seeking early-stage growth rather than capital preservation.

Solana Pulls Back as Risk Appetite Cools

Solana trading around $127.55 after an 11.43% weekly drop shows how quickly sentiment can shift in high-growth ecosystems. With an ATH of roughly $294.33 set a year ago, the recent decline places Solana firmly in a corrective phase rather than a breakout narrative.

The technology remains strong, but price behavior suggests consolidation. Historically, these periods often redirect speculative capital toward newer opportunities, which partly explains why BlockchainFX is absorbing attention and being compared favorably as the best crypto to buy now during this market pause.

Why BlockchainFX Stands Out Right Now

The broader market is hesitating, but BlockchainFX is executing. A licensed platform, a live trading app launching on 31 January 2026, and a presale price still at $0.031 combine timing with credibility. That mix is rare, especially in January 2026, when many projects are still outlining roadmaps rather than delivering products.

Based on current market conditions, data, and near-term milestones, BlockchainFX is increasingly viewed as the best crypto to buy now for investors seeking early access before broader exposure. With the APP50 bonus active and the app launch imminent, the opportunity window is narrowing quickly.

The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For

The post The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Visions of future technology are often prescient about the broad strokes while flubbing the details. The tablets in “2001: A Space Odyssey” do indeed look like iPads, but you never see the astronauts paying for subscriptions or wasting hours on Candy Crush.  Channel factories are one vision that arose early in the history of the Lightning Network to address some challenges that Lightning has faced from the beginning. Despite having grown to become Bitcoin’s most successful layer-2 scaling solution, with instant and low-fee payments, Lightning’s scale is limited by its reliance on payment channels. Although Lightning shifts most transactions off-chain, each payment channel still requires an on-chain transaction to open and (usually) another to close. As adoption grows, pressure on the blockchain grows with it. The need for a more scalable approach to managing channels is clear. Channel factories were supposed to meet this need, but where are they? In 2025, subnetworks are emerging that revive the impetus of channel factories with some new details that vastly increase their potential. They are natively interoperable with Lightning and achieve greater scale by allowing a group of participants to open a shared multisig UTXO and create multiple bilateral channels, which reduces the number of on-chain transactions and improves capital efficiency. Achieving greater scale by reducing complexity, Ark and Spark perform the same function as traditional channel factories with new designs and additional capabilities based on shared UTXOs.  Channel Factories 101 Channel factories have been around since the inception of Lightning. A factory is a multiparty contract where multiple users (not just two, as in a Dryja-Poon channel) cooperatively lock funds in a single multisig UTXO. They can open, close and update channels off-chain without updating the blockchain for each operation. Only when participants leave or the factory dissolves is an on-chain transaction…
