Crypto Security Strengthens as Coinbase Joins Crypto ISAC

Coinbase has announced a partnership with Crypto ISAC, a nonprofit organization focused on cybersecurity in the crypto industry. The goal is to share threat intelligence automatically and improve safety across the digital asset ecosystem.

This collaboration comes as crypto faces increasing attacks. In 2025 alone, hackers drained more than $2.2 billion from crypto platforms, according to Chainalysis data. Coinbase hopes that joining Crypto ISAC will help prevent similar losses in the future.

How the Partnership Works

Crypto ISAC was launched in 2023 to allow crypto firms to collaborate on threat detection and defense. Members share high-confidence threat intelligence in real time. Helping companies respond faster to phishing attempts, ransomware attacks, and other cyber threats.

Moreover, by joining, Coinbase now works alongside other key members such as Binance and Gemini. Together, these firms aim to create a unified defense system against sophisticated cyber attacks.

Benefits for the Crypto Ecosystem

Industry experts say partnerships like this can reduce a lot of breach risks. Models from traditional financial ISACs show up to a 30% decrease in successful attacks when firms collaborate on threat intelligence.

This crypto security move also shows maturation in the industry. Instead of competing over security alone, firms are pooling resources to protect the entire ecosystem. Analysts suggest that this could build more trust with investors and users in the long term.

Community Reaction

Crypto communities on platforms like X have taken the news well. A lot of users say collective security initiatives are a step in the right direction. Others note that such partnerships could make the ecosystem more resilient to cybercrime, reducing fear around crypto adoption.

Coinbase’s collaboration with Crypto ISAC highlights a growing trend in the industry. As attacks become more sophisticated, sharing threat intelligence and working together may become the standard for digital asset security.

Overall, this crypto security partnership is a great signal for the market. By prioritizing collective safety over competition, Coinbase and Crypto ISAC are showing that the industry is serious about protecting funds, users and platforms from emerging threats.

Slate Classic Chocolate milk shake Slate A new slate of functional beverages is about to dominate the ready-to-drink shelf, ushering in a more modern era of easily incorporating more protein in our diets. Today, Slate Milk cofounders Manny Lubin and Josh Belinsky reveal the brand has raised a $23 million Series B funding round. Led by Foundership, a new fund by Yasso frozen greek yogurt cofounders Drew Harrington and Amanda Klane, the money will allow Slate to continue its momentum towards ubiquity as it hits 100,000 points of distribution across 20,000 stores nationwide by the end of 2025. Slate also reveals that it is rolling out several line extensions including a 20 gram protein Strawberry milk at Sprouts Farmers Market, a 30 gram protein Cookies & Cream milk at Target, and a 30 gram protein Salted Caramel flavor at Walmart and Albertsons banner stores. New “Ultra” 42 gram protein options in Chocolate, Vanilla and Salted Caramel will also be available in retailers across the country. “Stores where we may have just had our ready-to-drink lattes, now we’re adding our shakes, and vice versa. We’re adding new partners and executing deeper with our existing partners,” Lubin tells me. The impressive growth is due to Slate’s early entry into the high-protein product space slightly before it caught mainstream attention–ready to execute immediately once consumers craved it most. Slate’s macronutrient ratios are practically unbeatable, largely due to the utilization of ultra-filtered milk. It’s a protein drink that writes a new script about who protein drinks are for. “We’re not sons of dairy farmers. We had no milk history,” Lubin says “We’re just a couple of dudes from the burbs of Boston who like chocolate milk.” Slate cofounder Manny Lubin Slate Another Clean Slate Slate’s brand has evolved significantly in just the past six…
