PAGOH: Penyandang DUN Bukit Kepong Dr Sahruddin Jamal dari Perikatan Nasional (PN) akan ditentang Barisan Nasional (BN) dan Pakatan Harapan (PH) dala pertandingan tiga penjuru pada PRN Johor.
Beliau akan berdepan Ahmad Syarie Yusof dari BN dan C Subramani (PH).
Pegawai Pengurus Pilihan Raya Mohd Hisam Said mengumumkan senarai calon bertanding pada 10.15 pagi selepas proses penamaan calon di Dewan Kompleks Sukan Pagoh ditutup pada 10 pagi.
Katanya, semua kertas penamaan calon diterima selepas disemak.
Bukit Kepong adalah antara DUN bawah Parlimen Pagoh, selain Bukit Pasir. Parlimen itu diwakili Presiden Bersatu Muhyiddin Yassin.
Pada PRN Johor 2022, Sahruddin yang juga ketua Bersatu Johor memenangi kerusi Bukit Kepong dengan majoriti 710 undi.
Beliau ketika itu menewaskan calon BN Ismail Mohamed, calon Muda Nur Afiqah M Zulkifli, dan calon Pejuang, Tanah Md Taib Md Suhut.
