Micah Parsons was the most dynamic pass rusher in Green Bay since Reggie White three decades ago.

Parsons made everyone on the Packers’ defense better. He was a big reason defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley is being interviewed for head coach openings.

So it was no surprise Parsons was named to the Pro Football Writers Association’s All-NFC team Monday. It’s the fifth straight year Parsons was named All-NFC by PFWA.

Parsons was also the only Green Bay player to be honored.

“It’s how hard he plays, it’s how hard he strains,” Hafley said of Parsons. “He tries to set edges. He tries to rush the passer. He gets off blocks. He runs after the quarterback. It’s just exactly what you see on tape.”

Parsons, acquired from Dallas in a blockbuster trade on Aug. 28, had 12.5 sacks through Green Bay’s first 13 games. That made him the first player in NFL history to record at least a 12 sacks in each of his first five NFL seasons.

Parsons had an NFL-leading 60 pressures through 13 games, which was 10 more than any player in football. According to ESPN, that was also the most pressures by a player through 13 games since 2018.

Unfortunately for Green Bay, Parsons suffered a torn left ACL against Denver in Week 15. The Packers’ defense was never the same and Green Bay went 0-5 after Parsons was injured.

In the 12 games Parsons where was healthy, Green Bay allowed 20.6 points per game. In the five games (including Denver) Parsons missed entirely or didn’t finish, the Packers allowed 28.8 points per game.

Parsons was asked last week what he expects when he returns.

“It’s going to be crazy,” he said. “I just look forward to putting on a show. There’s a lot of aggression that is built up right now. There’s a lot of pain that I feel like I’m suffering that other people need to feel, too.

“Everything is leading up to that return date of getting back to on the field. It’s going to be all year. When the game gets taken away from you, it’s a different-level mindset you come back with. And I’m ready to see that person and that player.”

Denver had a league-high four players on the All-NFL team, while eight teams (Baltimore, Buffalo, Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles Rams, Seattle and Tennessee ) have two players each on the squad. In all, 16 clubs were represented among the 27 players honored by the PFWA.

Best Crypto to Buy as Saylor & Crypto Execs Meet in US Treasury Council

The post Best Crypto to Buy as Saylor & Crypto Execs Meet in US Treasury Council appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Michael Saylor and a group of crypto executives met in Washington, D.C. yesterday to push for the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve Bill (the BITCOIN Act), which would see the U.S. acquire up to 1M $BTC over five years. With Bitcoin being positioned yet again as a cornerstone of national monetary policy, many investors are turning their eyes to projects that lean into this narrative – altcoins, meme coins, and presales that could ride on the same wave. Read on for three of the best crypto projects that seem especially well‐suited to benefit from this macro shift:  Bitcoin Hyper, Best Wallet Token, and Remittix. These projects stand out for having a strong use case and high adoption potential, especially given the push for a U.S. Bitcoin reserve.   Why the Bitcoin Reserve Bill Matters for Crypto Markets The strategic Bitcoin Reserve Bill could mark a turning point for the U.S. approach to digital assets. The proposal would see America build a long-term Bitcoin reserve by acquiring up to one million $BTC over five years. To make this happen, lawmakers are exploring creative funding methods such as revaluing old gold certificates. The plan also leans on confiscated Bitcoin already held by the government, worth an estimated $15–20B. This isn’t just a headline for policy wonks. It signals that Bitcoin is moving from the margins into the core of financial strategy. Industry figures like Michael Saylor, Senator Cynthia Lummis, and Marathon Digital’s Fred Thiel are all backing the bill. They see Bitcoin not just as an investment, but as a hedge against systemic risks. For the wider crypto market, this opens the door for projects tied to Bitcoin and the infrastructure that supports it. 1.
