Binance Submits Arbitrum Governance Proposal to Recover 8,426 ETH and 74.56 Million ARB
According to Odaily Planet Daily, Binance has submitted a draft constitutional improvement proposal to the Arbitrum forum seeking the return of 8,425.997 ETH and 74.56 million ARB that were frozen following the hot-wallet attack. The assets remain in an intermediate freeze address on Arbitrum One. The proposal must still pass forum discussion, a Snapshot temperature check and a binding on-chain vote, with the entire process expected to take about seven weeks or longer. Binance said any recovered assets would be used to offset incident-related losses and replenish reserves already used to compensate users, without requesting additional funds from the DAO treasury.
27 Stand With Crypto-Endorsed Candidates Win, 12 Lose, With 6 Races Still Undecided
According to Odaily Planet Daily, Stand With Crypto endorsed 45 candidates in total, with 27 winning, 12 losing and six races still undecided. Nearly half of the endorsed candidates were Democrats. At the same time, House Democrats are discussing an expansion of Representative Maxine Waters’ Crypto Investor and Consumer Rights Act into a broader crypto market structure bill that could grant the SEC greater authority while limiting the CFTC’s role. With Democrats taking control of both chambers of Congress, negotiations over market structure and consumer-protection provisions could become a new focus of U.S. crypto legislation.
First Permissioned Asset Goes Live on Uniswap AMM as GromaCorp Uses Permissioned Pools Hook for Real Estate Issuance and Redemption
According to Uniswap documentation, the Permissioned Pools Hook allows restricted assets to trade and provide liquidity on Uniswap v4 through whitelist-based controls. GromaCorp has introduced real estate issuance and redemption directly into the Uniswap AMM, representing an important use case for permissioned assets. Permissioned Pools use on-chain compliance checks to restrict unauthorized addresses while preserving Uniswap’s underlying open protocol design, offering a potential route for real estate, securities and other regulated RWAs to access AMM liquidity.
Anchorage Digital Plans BTC and ETH Options, Applies for CFTC Swap Dealer Registration
According to The Block, Anchorage Digital has filed through Anchorage Digital Swap Dealer, LLC with the National Futures Association to register as a CFTC-regulated swap dealer. If approved, the entity plans to initially offer European-style Bitcoin and Ethereum options with maturities of up to one year, while integrating the products with Anchorage’s existing custody services for institutional clients. Recent scams continue to target users with claims that they can “recover stolen crypto assets” or “unlock frozen accounts.” The FBI warns that scammers may impersonate asset-tracing companies, law firms or even law-enforcement agencies through social media, search results and crypto news comment sections, claiming they can recover previously lost digital assets. Victims are then asked to pay service fees, taxes or supposed unlocking charges in advance. Some schemes also use fake exchange domains and AI-generated identities to appear more credible. Users who have already suffered losses should not send additional funds to unfamiliar “recovery services” or disclose private keys, seed phrases or account credentials. Transaction hashes, wallet addresses and communication records should instead be preserved and verified or reported through official channels.
