The Nordex Group has secured new orders from wind energy companies ENOVA and BMR energy solutions for the supply and installation of 30 wind turbines with a combined capacity exceeding 197 MW across Germany. The projects, located in Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein, and North Rhine-Westphalia, include long-term Premium Service agreements spanning 20 years each.
In Boldecker Land, Lower Saxony, ENOVA is undertaking a 68 MW repowering project using ten Nordex N163/6.X turbines. Installation is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2027, with commissioning expected in early 2028. Another wind farm in Schleswig-Holstein will feature six N149/5.X turbines with a total capacity of 34.2 MW, with construction starting in early 2028 and commissioning by mid-2028.
Two projects in North Rhine-Westphalia—Nettetal and Breberen—were originally developed by BMR energy solutions. For Nettetal, which BMR sold to ENOVA, Nordex will supply five N163/6.X turbines, with construction beginning in October 2027 and commissioning in early 2028. The Breberen repowering project, a partnership between ENOVA and BMR, involves replacing existing turbines with nine modern N163/6.X units to boost electricity production and site efficiency. Installation there also starts in October 2027, with commissioning in the second quarter of 2028.
Karsten Bruggemann, Vice President Region Europe of the Nordex Group, highlighted the longstanding relationship with BMR and the expansion of business with ENOVA. “The fact that both partners are relying on our technology and service expertise for these projects is a strong sign of confidence for us,” he said.
Hendrik Böschen, Chief Operations Officer of ENOVA, noted that these projects mark a milestone in developing their wind farm portfolio. “Together with Nordex and BMR energy solutions, we are bringing demanding projects into implementation in a cooperative, efficient and fast manner,” he added, emphasizing ENOVA’s operational strength and scalability in the German wind energy market.
The orders underscore the growing momentum in Germany’s onshore wind sector, particularly in repowering older sites with more efficient turbines. ENOVA, one of Germany’s largest onshore wind farm operators with 1 GW in its portfolio, aims to reach 3 GW by 2030. The company supplies green electricity to around one million households and manages assets targeting EUR 5 billion. BMR energy solutions, based in Geilenkirchen, brings extensive experience in project development and realization, particularly in western Germany.
Nordex Group, which has commissioned over 64 GW of wind power capacity across more than 40 markets since 1985, reported consolidated sales of approximately EUR 7.6 billion in 2025. The company employs over 11,100 people and maintains manufacturing facilities in Germany, Spain, Brazil, India, and the USA. Its product portfolio focuses on onshore turbines in the 4 to 7 MW+ classes, designed for markets with limited space and constrained grid capacity.
