Circle Expands to Monad with Native USDC and Powerful CCTP Features

  • Circle launches native USDC and CCTP to expand stablecoin utility on Monad.
  • Developers gain wallet and contract support to build USDC-powered apps on Monad.

Circle’s move to integrate native USDC into the Monad network immediately drew attention because, from the outset, it was clear that the focus wasn’t simply on adding a new network. The topic revolved around how the Monad ecosystem could gain access to a widely used stablecoin across various crypto sectors.

Therefore, the focus was on what exactly was happening and why this integration was crucial for the development of DeFi on the network.

A New Gateway for Builders in the Monad Ecosystem

When Circle announced that USDC, CCTP, wallet support, and its official contracts were live on Monad, the industry quickly saw it as a fresh opportunity for developers working on payments or DeFi projects.

On the other hand, Monad itself is known as a Layer-1 network that stands out for its EVM compatibility and fast performance, so it’s natural that this stablecoin integration is seen as a catalyst for new activity within its ecosystem.

Furthermore, native USDC generally brings a higher level of trust, as it avoids involving additional tokens beyond what the issuer itself controls.

CCTP, which is also present on Monad, also brings an interesting story. This transfer protocol uses a burn-and-mint method, so USDC moving between blockchains doesn’t produce counterfeit tokens. This process streamlines the flow of stablecoins across chains, providing a smoother user experience that developers have long been waiting for.

Circle also ensures its official contracts are immediately usable, so Monad project teams don’t have to build new mechanisms from scratch. This certainly saves time and energy for those looking to launch new products quickly.

Circle Expands Its Toolkit to Support Faster Development

On the other hand, last October, we reported that Circle had launched a Bridge Kit to simplify cross-chain USDC transfers via CCTP V2. The package offers an easy-to-use SDK, complete with built-in monetization, sequential documentation, and code examples to help developers build faster.

This information suggests that Circle is indeed preparing a more streamlined ecosystem for cross-chain development.

Looking back, last August, Finastra partnered with Circle to integrate USDC settlement into the Global PAYplus platform. This collaboration makes cross-border payments faster and more efficient, while still complying with applicable regulations. This provides banks with a more streamlined settlement option without the need to build new infrastructure from scratch.

Back to Monad, this integration could also pave the way for DeFi growth on the network. With a widely recognized stablecoin, developers can design services like micropayments, asset exchanges, and even lending.

The post This U.S. politician’s suspicious stock trade just returned over 200% in weeks appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. United States Representative Cloe Fields has seen his stake in Opendoor Technologies (NASDAQ: OPEN) stock return over 200% in just a matter of weeks. According to congressional trade filings, the lawmaker purchased a stake in the online real estate company on July 21, 2025, investing between $1,001 and $15,000. At the time, the stock was trading around $2 and had been largely stagnant for months. OPEN’s stock rally Notably, Opendoor’s rally has been fueled by major corporate shifts and market speculation. For instance, in August, the company named former Shopify COO Kaz Nejatian as CEO, while co-founders Keith Rabois and Eric Wu rejoined the board, moves seen as a return to the company’s early innovative spirit.  Outgoing CEO Carrie Wheeler’s resignation and sale of millions in stock reinforced the sense of a new chapter. Beyond leadership changes, Opendoor’s surge has taken on meme-stock characteristics. In this case, retail investors piled in as shares climbed, while short sellers scrambled to cover, pushing prices higher.  However, the stock is still not without challenges, where its iBuying model is untested at scale, margins are thin, and debt tied to…
