Moneymax, a personal finance platform under MoneyHero Group, has partnered with the Credit Card Association of the Philippines (CCAP) to introduce a new financial education initiative focusing on credit literacy.
Launched on 20 January 2026, “The Confidence Movement: Credit Literacy for Every Juan” aims to help Filipinos build and manage credit responsibly.
The collaboration addresses a significant gap in the local financial landscape.
Despite the growing availability of digital wallets, data indicate that 95% of Filipinos remain “credit invisible”, lacking the formal credit ratings required to access traditional bank loans.
Consequently, many consumers resort to high-interest payday loans for immediate liquidity.
The campaign seeks to guide consumers from short-term borrowing towards formal banking products that offer lower interest rates.
Through structured guides, webinars, and interactive content, the initiative will provide education on credit basics and sustainable repayment practices.
He added that understanding credit better unlocks pathways to housing and entrepreneurship.
The programme aligns with the Philippines’ National Strategy for Financial Inclusion 2022–2028.
CCAP Chairman Rolando Ebreo added that the collaboration ensures the delivery of credible and accessible content.
