CC Technical Analysis Jan 20

The current market structure appears intact as an uptrend, but carries a risk of shift with short-term bearish signals. $0.1181 support is critical.

Market Structure Overview

CC is trading at the $0.12 level and showed a %11.05 rise in the last 24 hours. Although the overall trend is defined as an uptrend, its position below EMA20 ($0.13) and Supertrend’s bearish signal indicate short-term weakness. When analyzing the market structure with HH (Higher Highs) and HL (Higher Lows) patterns, the uptrend structure is preserved in broader timeframes. However, as long as it stays below the last swing high of $0.1336, the risk of LH (Lower High) formation increases. In the MTF structure (1D/3D/1W), there are 11 strong levels: Supports are dominant (1D: 3S/2R, 3D: 4S/2R). RSI 48.92 is neutral, MACD with bearish histogram shows weak momentum. The structure is awaiting $0.1336 BOS for bullish continuation; for bearish, watch for a break below $0.1181. This analysis is price action focused, offering an educational perspective through swing points and structure breaks.

Trend Analysis: Up or Down?

Uptrend Signals

CC’s uptrend is supported by the classic HH/HL pattern. The rise starting from the main swing low $0.0300 (score 60/100) continued with $0.0949 (64/100) HL and formed a new HL at $0.1181 (68/100). This confirms the higher lows series. On the highs, the pullback to $0.1336 after $0.1445 carries LH risk, but the overall structure can strengthen with a new HH above $0.1336. Support weight in 3D and 1W timeframes (7S vs 4R) shows the uptrend is intact. Educational note: Uptrend is defined by consecutive higher highs and higher lows; this symbolizes buyer control and increases continuation probability.

Downtrend Risk

For a transition to downtrend, LH/LL pattern is required: Staying below $0.1336 confirms LH, a break below $0.1181 forms the first LL. This BOS could lead to $0.0949 and $0.0300 (bearish target score 28). Short-term below EMA20 and MACD bearish are reversal warnings. BTC dominance and sideways trend also create pressure on altcoins. Watch: Close below $0.1181 becomes a CHoCH (Change of Character) signal.

Structure Break (BOS) Levels

BOS levels confirm trend changes. Bullish BOS: Weekly close above $0.1336 (score 86/100) makes a new HH and opens $0.1445 retest + $0.2462 target (bullish continuation score 0, but structural target). Bearish BOS: Daily close below $0.1181 (68/100) invalidates uptrend and starts LL series; expect $0.0949 test. These levels are derived from swing points and should be confirmed with volume. Educational: BOS shows structure shift when breaking the previous swing; watch for false breaks.

Swing Points and Their Importance

Recent Swing Highs

$0.1336 (86/100): Most critical resistance, latest HH candidate. Break confirms uptrend continuation. $0.1445 (73/100): Previous major high, retest level. These points test seller strength; holds create LH.

Recent Swing Lows

$0.1181 (68/100): Nearby support, preserves uptrend as HL. Break is bearish BOS. $0.0949 (64/100) and $0.0300 (60/100): Deep supports, major reversal zones. Educational: Swing low/highs are defined by 3+ bar pivots; supports show buyer entry, resistances show selling pressure.

Bitcoin Correlation

BTC at $91,289 (-1.90% 24h), in sideways trend but Supertrend bearish. Key supports $90,920/$88,225; resistances $92,479/$94,151. Altcoins like CC are highly correlated with BTC; BTC drop below $90,920 could trigger CC break below $0.1181. BTC dominance rise creates pressure on alts. Watch: BTC $92,479 BOS provides relief for CC. Details for CC Spot Analysis and CC Futures Analysis.

Structural Outlook and Expectations

Uptrend intact (HH/HL), but $0.1336 resistance and short-term bearish signals (below EMA20, MACD) require caution. Hold above $0.1181 preserves HL; monitor BOS levels. MTF support weight gives bullish bias, but BTC risk exists. Structure-neutral short-term, wait for BOS for directional move. Market structures are dynamic; risk management is essential. The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For

The post The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Visions of future technology are often prescient about the broad strokes while flubbing the details. The tablets in “2001: A Space Odyssey” do indeed look like iPads, but you never see the astronauts paying for subscriptions or wasting hours on Candy Crush.  Channel factories are one vision that arose early in the history of the Lightning Network to address some challenges that Lightning has faced from the beginning. Despite having grown to become Bitcoin’s most successful layer-2 scaling solution, with instant and low-fee payments, Lightning’s scale is limited by its reliance on payment channels. Although Lightning shifts most transactions off-chain, each payment channel still requires an on-chain transaction to open and (usually) another to close. As adoption grows, pressure on the blockchain grows with it. The need for a more scalable approach to managing channels is clear. Channel factories were supposed to meet this need, but where are they? In 2025, subnetworks are emerging that revive the impetus of channel factories with some new details that vastly increase their potential. They are natively interoperable with Lightning and achieve greater scale by allowing a group of participants to open a shared multisig UTXO and create multiple bilateral channels, which reduces the number of on-chain transactions and improves capital efficiency. Achieving greater scale by reducing complexity, Ark and Spark perform the same function as traditional channel factories with new designs and additional capabilities based on shared UTXOs.  Channel Factories 101 Channel factories have been around since the inception of Lightning. A factory is a multiparty contract where multiple users (not just two, as in a Dryja-Poon channel) cooperatively lock funds in a single multisig UTXO. They can open, close and update channels off-chain without updating the blockchain for each operation. Only when participants leave or the factory dissolves is an on-chain transaction…

China Blocks Nvidia’s RTX Pro 6000D as Local Chips Rise

The post China Blocks Nvidia’s RTX Pro 6000D as Local Chips Rise appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. China Blocks Nvidia’s RTX Pro 6000D as Local Chips Rise China’s internet regulator has ordered the country’s biggest technology firms, including Alibaba and ByteDance, to stop purchasing Nvidia’s RTX Pro 6000D GPUs. According to the Financial Times, the move shuts down the last major channel for mass supplies of American chips to the Chinese market. Why Beijing Halted Nvidia Purchases Chinese companies had planned to buy tens of thousands of RTX Pro 6000D accelerators and had already begun testing them in servers. But regulators intervened, halting the purchases and signaling stricter controls than earlier measures placed on Nvidia’s H20 chip. Image: Nvidia An audit compared Huawei and Cambricon processors, along with chips developed by Alibaba and Baidu, against Nvidia’s export-approved products. Regulators concluded that Chinese chips had reached performance levels comparable to the restricted U.S. models. This assessment pushed authorities to advise firms to rely more heavily on domestic processors, further tightening Nvidia’s already limited position in China. China’s Drive Toward Tech Independence The decision highlights Beijing’s focus on import substitution — developing self-sufficient chip production to reduce reliance on U.S. supplies. “The signal is now clear: all attention is focused on building a domestic ecosystem,” said a representative of a leading Chinese tech company. Nvidia had unveiled the RTX Pro 6000D in July 2025 during CEO Jensen Huang’s visit to Beijing, in an attempt to keep a foothold in China after Washington restricted exports of its most advanced chips. But momentum is shifting. Industry sources told the Financial Times that Chinese manufacturers plan to triple AI chip production next year to meet growing demand. They believe “domestic supply will now be sufficient without Nvidia.” What It Means for the Future With Huawei, Cambricon, Alibaba, and Baidu stepping up, China is positioning itself for long-term technological independence. Nvidia, meanwhile, faces…
