PANews reported on January 23 that, according to Tencent Finance, Binance founder Changpeng Zhao said in an interview in Davos, Switzerland, "I no longer have the drive to do new projects. After going through the exhausting process of starting a business once, I can no longer do it in my current situation. So now I mainly focus on investment."

"The change in the US attitude towards crypto is very significant. After all, it is a first-class power and can influence all aspects of the Western world," said Changpeng Zhao. He added that, driven by the US, many countries have also begun to change their attitudes towards crypto assets, such as Thailand and several Central Asian countries. He further mentioned the UAE, where he has long resided, "With the support of the UAE, two months ago, Binance was granted licenses for almost all of its global businesses, including futures."
