Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson addressed decentralization, ecosystem growth, and the ADA price in his statements regarding the future of the Cardano ecosystem.
Hoskinson stated that he is open to any initiative that can add value to Cardano, saying, “If you bring something to the table that can grow Cardano and it doesn’t break decentralization, I see that as a clear positive. Because that increases the use case, impact, and security of the ecosystem.”
Hoskinson stated that Cardano’s purpose is to build a decentralized infrastructure, emphasizing that no single person or group should hold sole control over the ecosystem. “The entire reason Cardano exists is to be a decentralized infrastructure and to say that no one person should run the system,” Hoskinson said.

Responding to criticisms regarding the ADA price, Hoskinson argued that some publications had created a false perception that he didn’t care about the ADA price. Hoskinson stated, “Of course I care about the ADA price. The ADA price is directly linked to Cardano’s security and use case.”
Hoskinson also highlighted initiatives like RealFi and Pogun within the Cardano ecosystem. He noted that RealFi is a commercial venture aiming to provide financial infrastructure to those without access to banking services, while Pogun aims to attract assets like Bitcoin, XRP, Litecoin, Dogecoin, and Bitcoin Cash to the Cardano ecosystem.
Hoskinson, stating that he wants to take on a more active leadership role in Cardano’s future, expressed his belief that the ecosystem can regain momentum. Hoskinson said, “I don’t just want to be a part of this, I think I can be a good leader in this structure. I can help take Cardano beyond its former glory days and make it the number one infrastructure. I believe in that. But it’s your choice; this is a decentralized ecosystem.”
