Jeanine Pirro snaps at reporter during indictment announcement

U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro became defensive during a press conference Thursday when a reporter questioned the prosecutorial disparity in her office's handling of cases.

While announcing a federal indictment against Olympic athlete David Hearn, who faces up to 10 years in prison for allegedly touching detached paint on the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, a journalist asked how Pirro could justify the aggressive charges.

Pirro cut the reporter off and dismissed the comments, but he continued, "Over 1,000 January 6 rioters caused millions of damage."

Pirro abruptly cut the reporter off again and refused to engage with the question.

She responded, "Are you really talking about January 6? I'm not. Who's next? Not you! No!" As she underscored her unwillingness to address concerns about prosecutorial consistency.
