BingX requires Advanced KYC verification to trade, deposit, use fiat services or join Launchpad, and its help centre publishes only two account states, where many third-party guides still describe three.
An unverified account can withdraw up to 20,000 USDT in any rolling 24 hours and do nothing else, verified against BingX's own help centre on 11 September 2026.

Key Takeaways
  • BingX now publishes two verification states, Unverified and Advanced KYC.
  • An unverified BingX account cannot deposit and cannot trade, which leaves withdrawal as its only function.
  • Advanced KYC raises the 24-hour withdrawal cap from 20,000 USDT to 5,000,000 USDT.
  • BingX puts Advanced Verification at 2 to 10 minutes, using a document photo plus a photo of you holding it.
  • Accounts that completed verification before 13 June 2024 already count as Advanced KYC.
  • The 50,000 USDT no-KYC figure still in circulation comes from a rule dated February 2022.

BingX spent years with a reputation as the exchange you could use without handing over documents.
That reputation no longer matches the rules BingX publishes.
The current position is set out plainly on two official BingX help pages, and it is stricter than the third-party guides we checked report: verification is the gate to trading itself, not just to higher limits.
Everything below is taken from those pages, retrieved on 11 September 2026, with the regional caveat BingX itself attaches to them.

Does BingX require KYC in 2026?

Yes, BingX requires Advanced KYC for the functions most people open an account to use, including spot and futures trading, deposits, fiat services, Launchpad and Wealth products.
Its help centre states that verification exists so that only verified users are allowed to trade, and the published benefits table marks trading as unavailable for unverified accounts.

Data verified as of 11 September 2026 against BingX's official help centre pages on KYC benefits and identity verification. Verification levels and benefits vary by region, and BingX states that the information on its own product page prevails.
Two details in that table are easy to skim past and expensive to miss.
The deposit row is not a limit, it is a block, so an unverified account cannot add funds at all rather than adding them in smaller amounts.
The withdrawal figure is measured in USDT equivalent across every token, and the 24-hour window runs from your last withdrawal rather than resetting at midnight.

What does each BingX verification tier unlock?

Advanced KYC unlocks the entire product surface: deposits with no cap, spot and futures trading, fiat currency services, Launchpad participation, Quick Buy and BingX Wealth subscriptions.
Unverified accounts keep one capability, a 20,000 USDT rolling 24-hour withdrawal allowance, which functions as an exit door rather than an account.
The gap between the two caps is 250 times.
For most retail accounts neither number is the binding constraint, because the trading block bites first, and a reader holding 300 USDT is stopped by the inability to place an order rather than by a cap in the millions.
One group is unaffected by all of this.
BingX states that users who completed KYC verification before 13 June 2024 are treated as having Advanced KYC, so a dormant account from that era already sits in the upper tier.

What documents does BingX KYC require, and how long does it take?

Advanced Verification on BingX requires photos of a government-issued identity document plus a photo of you holding that same document, and BingX puts the review time at 2 to 10 minutes.
You select the issuing country or region and the document type before uploading, which is the step that determines which documents the flow will accept.
The path is the same on web and mobile.
On the website you open the profile icon, choose Identity Verification, then Individual Verification, then start from the Advanced Verification card.
In the app you tap the avatar, open Identity Verification from the sidebar, and take the photos with the phone camera.
BingX's stated photo requirements are narrow enough to matter: the details on the document you hold must match the document you uploaded, and every photo needs to be bright, in focus, and show all four corners of the document.
Both conditions appear in BingX's guidance on verification failures, which it maintains as a separate help article.

What can you still do on BingX without verifying?

Without verification you can withdraw up to 20,000 USDT equivalent in any rolling 24-hour window, and that is the full extent of it.
Deposits are blocked, trading is blocked, fiat services and Launchpad are closed, and Wealth products are unavailable.
We state this plainly rather than framing it as a workaround, because there is no legitimate way to trade on BingX unverified, and an offer of a pre-verified account is an offer to trade under someone else's identity.
If your reason for avoiding verification is privacy rather than eligibility, the honest answer is that the choice on BingX is now between verifying and withdrawing.
If your reason is that verification is unavailable or unwise in your jurisdiction, the answer is a locally licensed platform rather than an unverified account anywhere.

Why do so many guides still say BingX allows 50,000 USDT without KYC?

The 50,000 USDT figure was real, and it was superseded twice.
It comes from a BingX withdrawal-limit announcement dated 17 February 2022, effective four days later, which set a 50,000 USDT rolling 24-hour allowance and a 100,000 USDT cumulative allowance for accounts with no KYC information on file.
Two later changes rewrote it.
From 13 June 2024 already-verified accounts were mapped to Advanced KYC, and from 19 November 2024 BingX upgraded its KYC rules and rolled the new benefits out region by region.
The pages that still quote 50,000 USDT are not lying, they are citing a four-year-old announcement that was never retracted, and search engines keep serving it because nobody has published the current table in plain English.
Sarah Chen, who pulled both BingX KYC pages for this article on 11 September 2026, reads the disappearance of the Basic tier from the published tables as the change that broke every third-party summary at once.
The same caution applies in the other direction, because BingX attaches a regional caveat to its own numbers.
Verification levels and benefits vary by region, and BingX states that whatever its product page shows for your account is what governs, so treat the published table as the global default rather than a promise about your jurisdiction.
The method we use to verify and compare exchange documentation is set out in our exchange review methodology.

Why does BingX verification fail, and who targets the people it fails?

BingX's guidance points at the photos rather than the identity: the held document must match the uploaded one, and every photo must be bright, in focus and show all four corners.
The fix is a resubmission with better images, and BingX documents the common causes in a dedicated help article.
The second-order problem is the one worth flagging.
Search results for verification trouble are a dense hunting ground for fraud, because a user who has just been rejected is primed to accept help from anyone claiming to be support.
Three rules survive every variation of that scam.
Verification on BingX happens inside the account, so a request for your documents through a messaging app is not coming from BingX.
Nobody can expedite a review for a fee, and an offer to do so is an offer to take your money and your identity documents together.
Any account claiming to be official can be checked against the platform's own verification tool, and BingX operates one under the name BingX Verify for exactly this purpose.
Platforms that publish reserve attestations give you a second, independent thing to check before you trust an account with documents, and we compare those disclosures in our guide to crypto exchanges with proof of reserves.

Can you use BingX and MEXC from your country?

Verification rules are jurisdictional, so the published table only tells you what BingX does by default rather than what it will do for your residence.
BingX restricts access in a number of markets and states the current position in its own terms of use, which is the only place worth checking for your own country.
On our side, readers should know that MEXC is listed on ESMA's register of non-compliant entities following the Dutch AFM decision of September 2025, and that MEXC announced its exit from the Netherlands on 25 August 2026, with offboarding due by 31 October and final offboarding on 16 November 2026.
Readers in the United States, the United Kingdom and the EEA should treat what follows as information rather than a recommendation, and verify with a platform licensed in their own jurisdiction.
For a region-by-region view of funding routes and what they cost, we maintain a guide on where to buy cryptocurrency by region, path and cost.

If you have to verify anyway, which account should you fund?

Once verification stops being avoidable, it stops being the deciding factor, and the question becomes which verified account costs you least to run.
That is where the BingX schedule and ours diverge, because MEXC publishes 0.0000% maker and 0.0500% taker as its standard spot rate against BingX's 0.1000% on both sides at VIP 0.
Here is the sequence a verified trader actually lives through.
You complete Advanced KYC in 2 to 10 minutes, which is genuinely fast, and BingX deserves credit for that.
You then fund the account and start paying 0.1000% on every spot order, maker or taker, with no discount for posting liquidity at the entry tier.
On MEXC the maker side of that same activity is priced at 0.0000% on the standard tier, published on the official fee page rather than run as a promotion, and the taker side at 0.0500%, falling to 0.0400% when fees are paid with an MX deduction.
Run 500,000 USD of monthly spot volume split evenly between maker and taker orders and the arithmetic is 500 USD a month on BingX against 125 USD on MEXC, or 4,500 USD a year for identical trading behaviour.
The pattern repeats on futures at the pair level, where MEXC's special rate on BTCUSDT is 0.000% maker and 0.020% taker against BingX's 0.0200% and 0.0500% at VIP 0.
MEXC publishes three verification tiers of its own, Primary, Advanced and Institutional, with the conditions that apply depending on your region.

Where does BingX still have the edge?

BingX beats us on three things here, and two of them are about the verification experience itself.
The 2 to 10 minute review window is fast by any standard, and a document-plus-selfie flow with no proof-of-address step is lighter than the advanced tiers that ask for a utility bill.
BingX also publishes hard numbers for both account states, 20,000 USDT and 5,000,000 USDT, which is more specific than many exchanges publish.
On product, copiers should note that BingX carries the larger lead-trader roster on the comparison we published, a 20 USDT starting ticket, an optional zero-slippage copy mode and spot copy trading, as set out in our MEXC vs BingX copy trading comparison.

The MEXC View

We publish this as MEXC, we compete with BingX, and the only defence against that conflict is that every number above can be checked against a page we name and a date we state.
Our reading is that BingX's published rules are now stricter than its own reputation suggests, and the gap between those two things is being filled by four-year-old blog posts.
We do not think that reputation gap helps anyone, including BingX, since a user who opens an account expecting to trade unverified finds out only when the platform refuses the deposit.
What we would push back on is the deposit block itself, because blocking deposits outright is a harder line than a capped deposit allowance would be, and it turns a reversible friction into a one-way door.
Where we would send a reader elsewhere: if verification is the thing you cannot or should not do in your jurisdiction, no exchange in this comparison is your answer, and a locally licensed platform is.
Our own pitch is narrow and testable: verification is a one-time cost measured in minutes, while the fee schedule is a cost you pay on every order, and 0.0000% maker is a standard-tier rate rather than a reward for volume.
Readers weighing the whole platform rather than the verification step can start with our MEXC review for 2026, our honest list of MEXC alternatives, or our roundup of BingX alternatives for copy trading.

Frequently asked questions

Does BingX require KYC?
Yes, for anything beyond withdrawing.
BingX's published table marks deposits, trading, fiat services and Launchpad as unavailable to unverified accounts, and Advanced KYC unlocks all of them.

Can you trade on BingX without KYC?
No, not according to BingX's own documentation.
Its help centre states that verification exists so that only verified users are allowed to trade, and the benefits table marks trading unavailable at the unverified level.

What is the BingX withdrawal limit without KYC?
20,000 USDT equivalent per rolling 24 hours, measured from your last withdrawal.
Advanced KYC raises that to 5,000,000 USDT, verified on BingX's help centre on 11 September 2026.

What documents does BingX KYC require?
A government-issued identity document, uploaded as photos, plus a photo of you holding that same document.
You choose the issuing country or region and the document type before uploading, and the flow BingX documents does not include a proof-of-address step.

How long does BingX verification take?
BingX puts Advanced Verification at 2 to 10 minutes.
Rejections usually come from photo quality or a mismatch between the document you uploaded and the one you are holding, and you can resubmit.

Do I need to verify again if I verified years ago?
No, if you completed verification before 13 June 2024.
BingX treats those accounts as Advanced KYC, though regional rules can still change what your account shows.

Risk and disclosure

Verification rules, limits and regional availability change without notice, and every figure here carries the date it was retrieved from an official BingX page rather than a guarantee that it still applies to your account.
BingX attaches a regional caveat to its own table, so the figures shown inside your account take precedence over any published summary, including this one.
Nothing here is guidance on avoiding identity verification, and readers in jurisdictions where an exchange is unavailable should use a platform licensed locally instead.
