The strongest BingX alternatives for copy traders are MEXC, Bitget, Bybit and OKX.
Within this comparison MEXC is our top pick on cost, pairing a 10% default profit share against BingX's published 8% to 32% Elite range, on futures taker fees that top out at 0.040% where BingX charges 0.05%.

Key Takeaways
  • Within this comparison MEXC is our top pick on cost, with a 10% default profit share and futures taker fees that top out at 0.040%.
  • BingX lead traders can claim 8% to 32% of your profits by Elite tier, and up to 50% in private mode, per BingX's own copy trading rules.
  • On a 2,000 USDT allocation copying a top-tier lead, the fee and profit-share gap comes to roughly 31 USDT a month in this illustration.
  • BingX disclosed a hot wallet breach on September 20, 2024, and CoinDesk reported over 43 million dollars drained before the exchange restored withdrawals and pledged compensation.
  • Availability is the first filter and not the last, because BingX and MEXC both exclude the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, Mainland China and the Netherlands.
  • BingX still beats MEXC on the entry ticket and on its optional zero-slippage copy mode.

The Verdict: Best BingX Alternative for Each Type of Copy Trader

  • Best net return from a given lead trader: MEXC, on the lowest published futures fee range here and a 10% default profit share.
  • Widest choice of proven lead traders: Bitget, with the deepest roster and native spot, futures and bot copy.
  • Tightest copier risk controls: Bybit, with per-order slippage caps and an automatic unfollow stop.
  • Smallest starting ticket and zero-slippage copy: BingX itself, if your lead sits in a low tier and you value that mode.
  • Copy trading inside a full-suite exchange: OKX, with spread protection and a capped spot profit share.

Why Copy Traders Are Hunting for BingX Alternatives

Three things push copy traders off BingX, and only one of them is about the product.

The September 2024 hot wallet incident

At around 4:00 AM Singapore time on September 20, 2024, BingX detected unauthorised access to one of its hot wallets and suspended withdrawals and deposits.
In a statement issued on September 30, 2024, BingX said withdrawals for major assets resumed by 08:30 on September 21 and deposits by September 22, and that user assets remained unimpaired.

One pillar holding up the whole platform

BingX built its brand on social and copy trading, and that focus is real.
The problem starts when a copier branches into spot, new listings or size on perpetuals, and finds the reason they opened the account no longer covers what they do with it.

The availability wall

BingX's official disclaimer names the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Singapore, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China among its restricted jurisdictions, alongside sanctioned territories.
In Europe the position is unsettled: BingX's EU entity has an application pending with the Austrian Financial Market Authority under MiCAR, and BingX stated on June 16, 2026 that no authorisation had been granted at that point.

The Switch Math: What Leaving Actually Costs You

Most people searching for a BingX alternative already know they want to move, and what stops them is the suspicion that switching is a hassle that will not pay for itself.
So price it.
A copier pays two things they can control by choosing a venue: the futures fee on every mirrored fill, and the slice of profit the lead takes.
On BingX, perpetual futures cost 0.02% maker and 0.05% taker at the standard tier, and the Elite Copy Traders Program lets public lead traders claim 8% to 32% of copier profits by tier, rising to a 0% to 50% range in private mode.
On MEXC, standard perpetual pairs run 0.000% to 0.010% maker and 0.000% to 0.040% taker per the official fee schedule, with certain pairs priced lower still, and the lead profit share defaults to 10%.
Take the conservative case, where MEXC charges the very top of its published taker range: a follower allocating 2,000 USDT and generating 50,000 USDT of copied taker volume a month pays 25 USDT in fees on BingX against 20 USDT on MEXC.
On a 6% gross month, that same follower's 120 USDT of gross profit gives up 38.40 USDT to a Diamond-tier lead on BingX and 12.00 USDT to a default-rate lead on MEXC.
Add the two lines and the gap is 31.40 USDT a month, against a switching cost of one on-chain USDT transfer.
Assume 3 USDT for that transfer and the move clears its own cost on day three.
Even in the flattest version, where your lead charges 10% on both venues and the only difference is the fee line, the switch still breaks even inside three weeks and keeps paying after that.
Settlement timing is the other mechanical difference, and it decides what a losing streak costs you.
MEXC settles profit share daily and only triggers it when your cumulative PnL since the last payout is positive, so a lead has to dig you out of a drawdown before earning again.
BingX settles perpetual futures copy trading weekly on Mondays at 00:00 UTC+8, calculated on fully closed net-profitable positions within that week.

BingX Alternatives Compared: Fees, Profit Share and Reserves

Five dimensions decide this choice for a copier: where you can copy, what each mirrored fill costs, what the lead takes, what ordinary trading costs once you leave copy mode, and whether the venue publishes verifiable reserves.
Everything else is preference.

MEXC

Copy trade on MEXC runs on USDT-M perpetuals, with an AI model option that mirrors automated strategies inside the same fee structure.
Benefits
  • The lowest published futures fee range in this comparison, which matters because it repeats on every mirrored fill.
  • A 10% default profit share, printed on each trader card before you commit rather than derived from a tier system.
  • Daily profit-share settlement that only fires on positive cumulative PnL, so drawdowns must be recovered first.
  • Monthly proof of reserves audited by Hacken, published on the MEXC proof of reserves page.
Limitations
  • No spot copy trading, so there is no leverage-free way to start.
  • A smaller lead-trader roster than the copy-first platforms, which narrows your choice of strategies.
  • No zero-slippage copy mode of the kind BingX offers.
  • Not available in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, Mainland China or Kazakhstan.

Bitget

Bitget has treated copy trading as its flagship product since 2020, and the ecosystem shows it.
Benefits
  • The deepest lead-trader roster of any platform here, with mature discovery and filtering tools.
  • Futures, spot and bot copy all run natively, with each followed trader isolated in its own sub-account.
  • Profit share is charged only when a copied trade closes in profit, with nothing deducted on losses.
Limitations
  • The 0.06% base taker fee is the highest in this table and applies to every mirrored market order.
  • Copy trading is futures-skewed, and the platform excludes the United States along with other markets.

Bybit

Bybit's Classic copy product covers USDT perpetuals only, and its strength is what the copier can control.
Benefits
  • Per-order slippage caps and an unfollow stop loss that cuts a deteriorating lead automatically.
  • Public Sharpe ratio and drawdown statistics on ranked Master Traders, which makes vetting easier.
  • A long product track record inside a major derivatives venue with published reserves.
Limitations
  • No crypto spot copy in the Classic product, so beginners start on leverage.
  • The 0.055% taker fee sits near the top of this group.

OKX

OKX runs copy trading inside its main interface rather than as a separate product.
Benefits
  • Spread protection automatically fails a copy that would open too far from the lead's price.
  • Spot copy carries a hard 8% to 13% share cap, which suits lower-risk copiers.
  • The lowest published spot maker fee among the four non-MEXC platforms here at 0.08%.
Limitations
  • Futures profit shares reach 30% at higher lead levels.
  • Copy trading availability is narrower than exchange availability, including in several markets where OKX itself operates.

The MEXC View

We publish this comparison and we are one of the platforms in it, so here is our position stated plainly rather than buried at the bottom.
Copy trading has competed for years on roster size and leaderboard theatre, and almost never on the two numbers that decide what a copier actually keeps.
That is where we chose to compete, and it is the only claim we make in this article: on a 10% default share and the lowest published futures fee range in the table above, a given lead trader leaves more in your account on MEXC than on the other four.
What we do not claim is a better copy product overall.
Bitget's lead-trader roster is deeper than ours and its discovery filters are better, and if your strategy depends on finding one specific kind of trader, that is a real reason to pick them over us.
BingX's optional zero-slippage copy mode attacks a cost we have no equivalent answer for.
Bybit's per-order slippage caps and automatic unfollow stops are a deeper exit toolkit than anything we currently ship.
We also have no spot copy trading at all, so a reader who wants to copy without leverage should not start with us.
Our honest read is that the cost stack is the part of copy trading beginners underestimate most and can control most easily, which is why we lead with it, and readers for whom roster depth or execution tooling matters more should weigh this article accordingly.

Is BingX Safe? The 3 Checks to Run on Any Crypto Exchange

The useful response to a breach is not to avoid one platform forever, but to apply the same three checks everywhere, including to whichever venue you move to.
Ask whether the platform publishes proof of reserves and how often, whether a separate fund stands behind losses, and what its public incident record shows including how users were made whole.
Platform
Protection or insurance fund
Publicly reported security incident
Reported outcome
MEXC
Futures Insurance Fund reported at 751 million USDT; Guardian Fund planned to grow from 100 to 500 million dollars
None found in the mainstream coverage reviewed for this comparison

BingX
Publishes a protection fund alongside its reserves page
Hot wallet breach, September 20, 2024, over 43 million dollars per CoinDesk
Withdrawals restored within days; exchange said users would be compensated
Bitget
Separate protection fund published alongside monthly reserves
None of comparable scale in the coverage reviewed
Not applicable
Bybit
Insurance fund published for derivatives positions
Cold wallet breach, February 2025, about 1.5 billion dollars per CNBC
Reserves restored to a one-to-one ratio within 72 hours; withdrawals stayed open
OKX
Risk reserve published alongside monthly proofs
None of comparable scale in the coverage reviewed
Not applicable
Incident entries reflect publicly reported events covered by mainstream media and are current as of September 1, 2026. Absence of an entry means no comparable event was found in the sources reviewed, not a guarantee that none occurred.
Two exchanges here have disclosed a major breach and both reimbursed users, and that is the pattern worth noticing: what separates platforms is not whether an incident is conceivable, but whether reserves, fund and recovery are documented in advance.
CNBC reported that Bybit replenished its reserves within 72 hours through emergency loans and large deposits, with an independent audit confirming the restoration.
Our full scoring approach is set out in our exchange review methodology, and MEXC's own asset protection measures are documented in our security overview.

Where BingX Still Wins

Leaving a platform is easier when you are honest about what you are giving up.
  • The smallest entry ticket. Perpetual copy starts from 20 USDT, below what Bybit's Classic product requires.
  • An optional zero-slippage copy mode. It matches the lead's fill price when the system can pair the order, which is a direct answer to the execution gap that costs copiers the most. No other platform in this table offers the equivalent.
  • Three copy markets in one account. Perpetual futures, standard futures and spot copy all run natively, with spot fixed at a flat 10% share.
  • Risk metrics on the trader card. Sharpe ratio and maximum drawdown are surfaced on public profiles, which is more than several larger venues show.
If your lead sits at a Bronze or Silver tier and you value the zero-slippage mode, the arithmetic above weakens considerably and staying is a defensible call.

Check Availability Before You Move

Copy trading availability is narrower than exchange availability, and none of these platforms serves everyone.
United States, United Kingdom and Canada.
None of the platforms here serves you, MEXC included, so use a locally licensed venue instead, which in the United States means an exchange registered to operate there such as Coinbase, Kraken or Gemini.
European Economic Area.
MEXC holds no MiCA authorisation and is not an option for EEA residents, so if you are in the EEA the honest answer is to compare CASP-authorised platforms listed in ESMA's public register rather than the table above.
Everywhere else.
Check the prohibited jurisdictions clause in each user agreement before funding an account, because these lists change and vary from service to service within the same exchange.
MEXC's own agreement excludes the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, Mainland China and Kazakhstan, plus sanctioned states and Russian-controlled regions of Ukraine.

How to Move From BingX to Another Exchange in 3 Steps

Step 1. Close your copy positions first.
Stop copying, let open positions close, and wait for the final profit-share settlement to clear, which on BingX runs weekly, so leaving mid-week can strand a payment.
Step 2. Send a small test transfer.
Withdraw a token amount of USDT first and confirm it arrives before moving the balance.
Match the network on both sides exactly, and if the asset requires a memo or tag, copy it precisely, because a missing memo is the single most common way transfers get stuck.
Step 3. Fund and set your limits before you follow anyone.
Set an account stop loss before you pick a trader, not after: our withdrawal guide covers the network mechanics and the copy trade tutorial walks through the risk settings.

Risk Warning

Futures copy trading mirrors leveraged positions, and leverage can erase an entire allocation quickly through liquidation.
Past performance on any leaderboard does not predict future results, and IOSCO's 2025 final report warns that returns from imitative trading can be eroded by the high transaction fees that frequent trading generates.
ESMA, in its 2023 supervisory briefing on copy trading, and IOSCO, in its 2025 report on online imitative trading, both flagged lead-trader conflicts of interest and opaque remuneration as investor-protection risks.
Fees, profit-share ratios and platform rules change, so confirm current terms on official pages before you allocate.
Only commit funds you can afford to lose, start small, and treat a copy relationship as an open position that needs monitoring.
For the full cost model behind these numbers see our comparison of six copy trading platforms, and if you are changing venue entirely rather than just changing copy product, our exchange alternatives guide covers migration region by region and our derivatives comparison covers eight platforms on leverage and pairs.
