Lending

Lending protocols form the backbone of the decentralized money market, allowing users to lend or borrow digital assets without intermediaries. Using smart contracts, platforms like Aave and Morpho automate interest rates based on supply and demand while requiring over-collateralization for security. The 2026 lending landscape features advanced permissionless vaults and institutional-grade credit lines. This tag covers the evolution of capital efficiency, liquidations, and the integration of diverse collateral types, including LSTs and tokenized RWAs.

Lit Protocol’s Vincent Lets AI Agents Trade

The post Lit Protocol’s Vincent Lets AI Agents Trade appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Key Takeaways: Lit Protocol launches “Vincent” Early Access, enabling AI agents to perform real DeFi transactions under strict user-set rules. Agents can now borrow, swap, and bridge funds across major DeFi protocols like Aave, Uniswap, and deBridge without compromising key security. Vincent brings non-custodial, permissioned AI automation to production-ready status, moving DeFi agent tech beyond experimental demos. AI-powered agents are no longer a concept stuck in the lab. With the launch of Vincent Early Access, Lit Protocol introduces a new layer of secure, decentralized automation to DeFi where AI agents don’t just simulate trades, they execute real ones with verifiable control, transparency, and user-defined boundaries. Vincent: The First Practical On-chain AI Agent Framework Lit Protocol’s Vincent is a developer platform that enables autonomous, non-custodial AI agents to interact with DeFi protocols using real permissions and real assets without handing over private keys. This change may reestablish the way individuals and applications automate financial plans in a safe manner. Vincent offers instead of centralized infrastructure or bespoke bots: On-chain guardrails to enforce user-defined permissions Decentralized key management using Lit’s threshold cryptography network Composable “Abilities” and on-chain “Policies” that govern every agent action Read More: MIND of Pepe Launches AI Agent on X; Here’s Why It’s Early Crypto Launches with Promise for Real-Time Market Intelligence How It Works: Abilities, Policies & Apps Building Secure AI Agents with Vincent Vincent proposes a building blocks model of AI agents: Apps: Packages of agent and configuration developers implement. For instance, an app like Vincent Yield automatically allocates user stablecoins to high-yield pools while respecting pre-set policy limits. Abilities: Special operations that the agent is able to do (e.g., borrow on Aave, swap on Uniswap, bridge via deBridge). All abilities are versioned, composable, and require user permission to use explicitly at connect time. Policies: Rules that…

Best Altcoins to Watch in September 2025

The post Best Altcoins to Watch in September 2025  appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. With September 2025 coming into play, the altcoin market is again in the spotlight as investors scan the market to pick projects that display both stamina and originality. Mutuum Finance (MUTM) is another trending name that is attracting more attention to its DeFi ecosystem and its potential to transform the landscape of decentralized lending and liquidity models.  Phase 6 of the Mutuum Finance presale have now been launched and more than 30 percent of the tokens are already bought up. It has raised more than $15.4 million on the platform, and it has more than 16,040 token holders. In the meantime, old players like XRP are still operating within an evolving environment, which is used as a benchmark when other emerging tokens are assessed. As regulatory changes, market sentiment, and new partnerships continue to define the market this month, these altcoins are creating the groundwork of a breakthrough chapter in the larger cryptocurrency market. XRP Price Analysis: Trading at a Crossroads As the Price Waits to See the $3 Mark XRP is at present selling at $2.82, within a narrow zone between critical support at $2.70-2.78 and resistance at $2.84-$2.92. Analysts observe that once XRP clears above $3.33, it may be the beginning of a major upswing, perhaps to a high of $5.85, or even higher in the long-term bull case. On the other hand, inability to maintain the existing support may pave the way to a counter measure of up to $1.64. With this equilibrium of breakout and brace, investor interest is also slowly changing to emerging DeFi platforms like Mutuum Finance.   Presale Stage 6 Milestone Mutuum Finance still has the presale in process and is on the sixth phase where tokens are being sold at a price of $0.0035. Since the project reports over 16,040 token holders…

What traders need to know in 2025

The post What traders need to know in 2025 appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Overview of tax regulations in India For the financial year 2024-2025, Indian tax law treats cryptocurrencies as virtual digital assets (VDAs) under the Income Tax Act, 1961. Section 2(47A) spells out what that means: Any code, number, token or piece of information created through cryptography counts as a VDA. The only exception is money itself — Indian rupees or any other country’s fiat currency. VDAs include cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH), as well as non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and similar digital tokens. While it is legal to buy, sell and hold VDAs, they are not recognized as valid payment methods.  In other words, crypto operates in a legally ambiguous space in India in 2025. It is permitted but closely monitored for taxation and anti-money laundering (AML) purposes. Several agencies in India oversee crypto transactions. The Income Tax Department enforces tax compliance, guided by the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) under the Ministry of Finance, which sets tax policies.  Meanwhile, the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU-IND) ensures platforms meet AML standards, while the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) shape broader regulatory policies.  These bodies work together to oversee crypto taxation in the country. The Income Tax (No. 2) Bill, 2025, received presidential assent on Aug. 22, 2025, thereby replacing the Income Tax Act, 1961. Taxable events for crypto traders in India India places crypto transactions under a specific tax framework, with a flat 30% tax on gains from transfers and a 1% tax deducted at source (TDS) applied to all transfers, whether profitable or not. A taxable event in crypto is any activity that creates a tax liability under Indian law. This includes transactions that produce income, gains or measurable benefits in fiat money. If you trade or invest, knowing what…
